Will a neutral skew lackluster? While paint samples can help you make a decision, it's often hard to tell if you really like a color until it's coating the entire wall. To help you take the guesswork out of choosing a paint color, Sherwin-Williams just launched the Sherwin-Williams Color Expert app. The company's new tool is powered by AI technology to help you try colors out instantly without taking a single brush to your walls. The app detects colors already present in a room, such as art and furniture, and instantly gives users personalized paint color recommendations based on what's in their space. Sherwin-Williams Has Announced Its Least Popular Paint Color—See the Underrated Hue Here "Homeowners who love design and doing their own projects tend to struggle when it comes to choosing the perfect paint color," says Sue Wadden, director of color marketing for Sherwin-Williams. “This revolutionary color technology will give them the confidence they need by seamlessly allowing them to find the right color without the stress they normally go through!” To use the Sherwin-Williams Color Expert app, simply upload an image of the space you want to find a paint color for and the technology will instantly recommend several wall colors that complement other items in the room. If you don't love the color palette the app recommends, you can also use it to see how any of Sherwin-Williams paint colors look in your space. From there, you can order paint samples directly through the app. If you're not ready to tackle your painting project right away, no worries. The app, which is available for free on The App Store and Google Play, has a feature that allows you to save certain paint colors to return to later. Was this page helpful? Thanks for your feedback!
