Sherwin-Williams Just Released Its 2024 Color Trend Anthology—and We Love Every Palette

It's time: 2024 paint color trends are finally being released—and Sherwin-Williams has delivered. The brand just shared 48 hand-selected hues across four different palettes, offering a new approach to its annual color trend report. For 2024, Sherwin-Williams' anthology collection explores grouped colors ranging from warm reds to deeply saturated darks.

"Through the launch of Anthology, we are thrilled to diversify our yearly color forecasting report to show the depth behind each color trend for the coming year," Sue Wadden, director of color marketing at Sherwin-Williams, said in a press release. "These palettes—organized by color family for ease of use—will represent the beautiful shifts we are seeing within the world of color here at Sherwin-Williams."

Palette 1: Blues and Greens

The first palette in Sherwin-Williams' anthology was inspired by natural influences; use it to create a calming, but invigorating color story. From subtle shades to bold and bright hues, this collection seamlessly blends a range of organic gray-blues to bluish-greens.

Palette 2: Reds and Purples

If you're ready to infuse your space with a pop of color, this palette is the one to pull from. It features a mix of dynamic hues, ranging from warm red tones to cheerful pinks and purples. The colors in the palette are balanced by natural, earthy pigments—a 2023 color trend mainstay that is expected to carry over into 2024.

Palette 3: Deeps and Darks

This palette is all about creating a daring, powerful, and mysterious atmosphere. It utilizes a range of dark and dramatic hues, contrasted with colored light or gilded metallic accents. The deeply saturated dark tones add a sense of drama to your space, while simultaneously creating a cozy respite.

Palette 4: Delicate Tints
