She has always loved terrariums and small ecosystems and has written about landscapes and plants for nearly a decade, but it wasn't until the pandemic that she tried her hand at plant propagation within her 600-square-foot Brooklyn apartment. She fell in love with starting plants from seed during the pandemic as a way to pass time and hopes to continue to do so for the rest of her life.
