This easy glazed carrot recipe delivers on flavor. The winning side calls for just a few ingredients and takes less than 30 minutes to make. Everyone will enjoy this dish when you serve it on a weeknight or as part of your Thanksgiving dinner. Just be sure to cut the carrots into pieces that are approximately the same size to ensure they all cook evenly.

2 tablespoons butter

Directions

Quarter and cut carrots into 2-inch lengths.

In a skillet, bring carrots, sugar, 1/2 cup water, butter, and salt to boil. Reduce heat; simmer, partly covered, 6 minutes.

Cook uncovered, over high, tossing often until tender, 3 to 4 minutes. Season with pepper.
