The shade is a unique blend of blue and violet that was inspired by the brilliance of a new star being formed in space. Benjamin Moore Here's Every Color of the Year (So Far) to Inspire Your Home Painting Projects in 2024 The shade is part of the brand's 2024 color trend palette, which features softly saturated hues that delicately contrast one another. “The Color Trends 2024 palette tells a story of duality–juxtaposing light against dark, warm and cool, showcasing complementary and contrasting color pairings," said Magno. These contrasts invite us to breakaway from the ordinary to explore new places and collect color memories that shape the hues used in our homes." The brand's 2024 color of the year is a stark contrast to last year's hue—Raspberry Blush—a vivacious red-orange shade that encouraged homeowners to step out of their comfort zones. While Blue Nova is also a divergence from the neutrals that have dominated interior spaces in the past, the shade still maintains a sense of timelessness.
